On June 6, 1944, the largest amphibious invasion in history changed the course of World War II. Eleven-year-old French boy Paul is determined to help a downed American paratrooper while evading brutal Nazi soldiers in Normandy. Caught in the center of roaring battles, bombings, and the historic D-Day landings, Paul must summon all his courage to protect his friends and survive. A powerful, fast-paced graphic novel about resistance, heroism, and the real cost of freedom.
